Happy {EASTER}...

This year Easter was kinda different for me but ended up being SO great! This was my first holiday.... officially as a single Mom and all my family lives out of state.... so I was getting prepared for a chill day.

I recently finished reading this book called, "The Peacemaker". WOW... it really gave me a different angle on what Christ did for us. We silly human beings are SO far from understanding what he truly has done.

I have always understood that he suffered for our sins so that we could repent and be forgiven.... in turn having the opportunity to live with our Heavenly Father again. The book took on an angle that HE also suffered so that when someone WRONGS us.... we are blessed to be able to just forgive them and not have to worry about judging them. If we choose not to forgive .... we may as well look Jesus Christ right in the face and say to him that what he did.... all the suffering all the pain he endured was not enough. Sometimes in life people can do horrible things and thank God that we don't have to judge them.... because HOW could we honestly? We can't.... unless we have walked every step in their shoes. As I have gone through some rough times lately and questioned weather I should get mad .... this book WAS my answer. My job is to forgive.... without question. It truly has been such a blessing and so much easier to just LOVE those that have hurt me.

As my little angel Jazmin has been saying all day, "Happy Easter.... today Easter is about Jesus Christ dying for US and he was resurrected.... and he lived again because he loves us and cares about us."

It was a beautiful day! Jazmin and Jaeda got to go and eat breakfast with their Daddy at his work, Shadowridge Country Club. After that we came home and our amazing neighbors had brought them Easter baskets with so many cute things and then their kids created an Easter egg hunt for them. It was SO nice.

We then went to meet the Easter bunny at Corey's work. He offered to be the bunny for the country club but didn't realized how much Jazmin would hate it. lol I told her it was Daddy and she said, "well where is the real Easter bunny? Tell Daddy to take that off RIGHT AWAY!" She was not happy. Jaeda had no clue it was Corey but she LOVED him. Just chased him everywhere saying, "Easter Bunny.... where you goin?" It was adorable.

Later that evening I guess the real Easter bunny came and left us all treats and little dolls for the girls. Seriously..... I have the best friends who take such good care of us.... especially in times like these. :) Thank you "secret" bunny, Nana for the presents, friends who help with the girls and Daddy for being there for the girls.

It sounds like you have some really good friends and neighbors!
That tallest girl totally looks like a girl I went to college with. Her name is Erin Klein. Maybe there's some relation? Totally cute!

Happy Easter Girls!!! I am so happy that you guys had such a good day! I have to say the Bunny costume with the open mouth is sort of freaky looking! LOL!

I'll have to check out that book that you mentioned. It sounds really great.
